Penelope:	Mr. Glibb, this is a house of worship! It’s not supposed to be any fun!

Earnest:	(Earnest gives her withering look) Have it your way.

Penelope:	You know what I mean.

Earnest:	What I know is it’s time to quit beatin’ 'round the bush. Let’s talk trees. Citrus trees to be specific. Little lady I’m about to cut you in on the best land deal since the Louisiana Purchase.

Penelope:	What are you talking about?

Earnest:	It's all about money, Penny. ... Ahhh. I knew you’d be interested. Talk to me. What’s your slice? How much are you in for?

Penelope:	Nothing. I am not in.

Earnest:	Oh, you’re in. The only question is are you in willingly?

Penelope:	I don’t want your deal, Ernie. I have position in this community. I have a new life.

Earnest:	You play along, Sweetie, or I’ll sing like a magpie in Spring about what you know I know about you know what to any interested person. Or should I say Parson?

Penelope:	You wouldn’t dare.

Earnest:	Try me. How do you think what’s-his-name, Reverend Klugmaster, would react if he knew his fragile butterfly was really a painted lady?

Penelope:	It’s Klugmeier, and you are not half the man he is.

Earnest:	I can name names and tell tales to make your poor Parson Klugman redder than a yellow-bellied sap sucker shot full of tomatoes.

Penelope:	Klugmeier! And he would not listen to a word you say.

Earnest:	By the time I’m done, Reverend Oscar Meyer will know everything I know.
